The latest attraction in Las Vegas is a marijuana museum called Cannabition.
Cannabition is a one-of-a-kind museum that displays 20 different kinds of cannabis.
The founder and CEO of Cannabition J.J. Walker told the Associated Press: “Our goal when people come out of this is that they don’t fear the cannabis industry if they are not believers in the industry.”
“Cannabition is not about just serving people that like marijuana, it’s about serving the masses that want to learn about cannabis and or just have fun and go do a cool art experience,” he added.
Cannabis companies have sponsored many exhibits at the museum. It also features a bar and retail store.
Some rules apply though: You can only enter the facility if you’re 21 or older. And you can’t light up inside or near the museum because public consumption of marijuana is banned in Nevada.
The museum is a mix of educational and experiential activities. A tour typically lasts about an hour and starts with an introduction. The walls display graphics that explain the different strains of cannabis and how concentrates are made.
The state of Nevada legalized the consumption of recreational marijuana around 15 months ago. Since the legalization, sales for cannabis are significantly more than the state’s predictions.
